Trade card of the firm that made the roofing for Philadelphia's new city hall, built between 1871 and 1901, and billed as the world's tallest building
 ( although by then the Washington Monument and the Eiffel Tower were taller, they were not inhabited buildings ).
It is still the world's second tallest masonry building.
