Samuel Crobaugh was a daguerreotypist between 1852 and 1860, and continued in photography until 1891. He taught Marvin Beckwith the daguerrian process.
On this card, a barge boat scene has been used to overprint the imprint of some other photographer,
perhaps James F. Ryder, and Crobaugh's information added at the bottom.
