CDV album cards picturing "Old Abe", the famous Civil War mascot of the 8th Wisconsin Regiment, perched on a Confederate cannon captured by that regiment.
These chromolithographed cards were sold (15¢ each, 8 for $1, 10¢ each in quantities over 100 ) to benefit the Permanent Soldiers' Home in Milwaukee.
